What’s New At The Studio – Jan 16 Update

I’ve come to realize that many people thought that the blog was an e-mail newsletter, so I will try to be diligent about meeting y’all in the middle and posting a regular update here on the blog about studio updates. Live updates are always posted to our class schedule, Facebook, and Instagram Stories.

So, what’s new?

Lots of classes! We have small group TRX classes forming (30 min, 3-4 participants), HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Cardio (45 min), Kickboxing (1 hour), and of course Zumba (1 hour). The most up-to-date schedule for all of those classes and class series is always available on the Schedule tab of this page and in the free MindBody App. As always, pre-registration is required and the class registration is locked 90 min before class. If for some reason we don’t have enough participants signed up, you’ll be notified of the class cancelation by text – so make sure your phone number is correct in your profile. (It’s also how we will contact you in the event of inclement weather.)

We also have some special event classes coming up, like a Total Beginner Bootcamp this Saturday 1/19 at 11:30am and a Recovery class on the 26th from 7-8:30 pm (bring a foam roller if you already have one, bring your own mat if you’d like, and be prepared to take off your shoes). Registration and details are on the Schedule tab for those as well.

Tune-Up Sessions, single one-hour training sessions with no commitment, are also available and can even be scheduled same-day if there are openings. These sessions are designed to answer your questions, whether you are looking for a total body workout that you can take home with you, wondering why your knee hurts when you squat, or wondering why you’re doing everything right and not getting results. Contact me to set up your session at any time.

As for regular, ongoing personal training, we currently have room for just 1-2 more clients (depending on whether you intend to train once or twice per week), so schedule your consultation ASAP if you want to be on our early spring schedule! We also have online personal training.

Finally, we are tiptoeing onto YouTube at long last. Lots more is planned than posted so far, but the year is young.

If you’ve already trained with me for at least 12 personal training sessions and you are currently training with me, you already know about the open gym times that are available to you and where to find the other details. Likewise, if you’re my current personal training client, you’ve gotten your password to access the online workout and recovery info.

FEAR

Our theme for 2019 is FEAR: Face Everything and Rise. Time to shed the things that are holding you back and face the things you don’t want to acknowledge so that you can make the progress you’re seeking. There will be some fun challenges ahead. None of them will involve tarantulas or anything actually scary though.
