This Week at Tiny Fitness (and online) – Feb 17

  • getting in at least one (preferably two) total body strength workouts most weeks?
  • getting in at least 90 minutes of cardio (that means you can barely talk)?
  • nourishing your body with what it needs to be strong and resilient?

Just checking! If you said no to any of those, let’s talk about how you can fix it this week.

Schedule this week at the studio and online:

  • HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Cardio Monday 7pm, Friday 6:30pm – all levels are encouraged to attend this killer cardio blast
  • Kickboxing (1 hour, all levels) Wednesday 5:45pm ONE SPOT open for this three-class series that starts this week and includes the next two Wednesday nights as well
  • Zumba (1 hour, all levels), Saturday 10am
  • …and I’m debating another Recovery Workshop (90 min) on Saturday or Sunday? Any preferences? This is an awesome way to set yourself up for a grounded, sane, ache-free week, so I’m willing to offer it more often if y’all are into it.
  • ALSO, we could have a class Saturday morning if you’re free? Group TRX? Bootcamp? You tell me, and I’ll schedule it.

As always, pre-registration is required since our studio is tiny; class registration is locked 90 min before class. If for some reason we don’t have enough participants signed up, you’ll be notified of the class cancellation by text – so make sure your phone number is correct in your profile. (It’s also how we will contact you in the event of inclement weather.)

Looking for you…

I’m looking for two people who don’t yet train with me but would like to train with me for six weeks for free.  No strings, nothing crazy. If that sounds like you, send me an email and we can talk about the details! You don’t have to live in Houston.

Tune-Up Sessions, single one-hour training sessions with no consultation or commitment, are also available and can even be scheduled same-day if there are openings. These sessions are designed to answer your questions, whether you are looking for a total body workout that you can take home with you, wondering why your knee hurts when you squat, or wondering why you’re doing everything right and not getting results. Contact me to set up your session at any time.

Free stuff you’re not doing (that would really help you)

If you’ve already trained with me for at least 12 personal training sessions and you are currently training with me, you already know about the open gym times that are available to you and where to find the other details. Likewise, if you’re my current personal training client, you’ve gotten your password to access the online workout and recovery info.

Workout Wednesday videos don’t have to be done on Wednesday – the prior ones are up here, and I’m hoping to start posting again this week?! Let me know if you have any requests.

If you’re my client…don’t forget to do your cardio. You can do it inside your house, with a mouse, in the rain, on the plains, etc. (And if you’re not yet my client, cardio is still good for you.)
