Track your food more quickly by saving your own customized Meals in MyFitnessPal. I use this to save takeout foods like Chipotle bowls so that I have my exact order saved in my tracker, but I also use it for staples that I make at home. Meals are different from Recipes in that Meals are tracked as a group of components (e.g. spaghetti noodles, sauce, ground beef, cheese) rather than a serving of a recipe (e.g. spaghetti and meatballs) – that means that if I add chicken to my Chipotle bowl or change out the sauce on a commonly made dish, I can edit my meal easily once I’ve logged my custom Meal.
