I love my fitness clothes hard – which means I live in them 24/7, sometimes I get lazy and throw them in the dryer (do not do), and I get really sad when they finally wear out. And, while I might love the look of some of the $110 leggings, I don’t love the price tag since I go through 8-12 pairs of leggings during a slow week at the studio (midweek laundry is for the weak!).
Therefore, I love deals on good stuff…and the Nordstrom Annversary sale makes some awesome, high-quality fitness gear available to y’all at reasonable (under $30!) prices. I’ve been a Nordstrom shopper for years because of their easy, easy, easy returns, free shipping, and rewards program. (This is not at all a sponsored post – I just love good deals and know that you guys like to look cute when you work out.) Here are my top 10 picks from this year’s sale, which ends on August 8.
Zella is Nordstrom’s house brand and answer to Lululemon…and the lulu ties might go even deeper than that. I have had 2 pairs of their crops and one pair of their leggings for over a year and they haven’t pilled, pulled, or stretched out – and I can still do 100 burpees in them without the waistband rolling down. Plus, the fabric is nice and thick, which is both comfy and …modest. The crops are on sale for under $25 (that is like Marshall’s prices), and the sale leggings range between $33 and $42 (dying over these mesh cut-out, ones, though!)
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale usually comes along with great Nike and Asics deals, but this year I just found one pair of Nikes worth considering – these are the new black and white ones I’ve been wearing at the studio, and I’m happy with them for training (lifting weights and doing short cardio bursts).
No tops are featured in this list because I didn’t find a single one that I thought was both cute and reasonably priced! Stick with Old Navy. However, there are a couple of great sport bra deals if you like Moving Comfort bras – they come in a wide range of sizes, last almost forever, and provide a lot of support. (And hey, if you order it and hate it, there’s always that super easy return policy.)
