I could fill screen after screen with the struggles I’ve witnessed in 2018: it has, it seems, been a hard year.
But rather than celebrate the negative, I’m here to promote the positive. Enough excuses, enough “next times”, let’s get moving toward all the good that the rest of the year can bring.
The Simple September Challenge
Here’s the challenge:
- Right now, come up with a weekly goal for yourself for each of the following:
– nutrition
– strength training
– cardio
– fun
(Nothing crazy, just a goal that makes sense to your in support of your overall goals. Just one per area. 90 minutes of cardio? Eat vegetables 5 times a week? Whatever you need.) - Each week in September, identify one stumbling block that makes it tough to stick to your goals. Happy hour? Tired? Bored? No one to work out with? Not sure what to do? Whatever it is, either write it down (check our Instagram Stories each week for where you can submit your stumbling block) or bring it to your training session if you’re already my client.
- Receive goodies (if you’re my client) and/or recognition online for working with me to overcome those four stumbling blocks and sticking to your goals.
AND THEN we stick to those four goals each week for the rest. of. the. year.
Simple. Made simpler by removing those extra hurdles.
