What will it take to keep your resolutions in 2019? How can you get fit in the new year? Whether you want to lose weight, get in shape, run a marathon, or just be able to climb the stairs without feeling out of breath, here’s what it will take to reach your goals FOR REAL this time.
#1: Consistency
Just show up. Then, show up again tomorrow. Next week? Show up. Keep showing up to your goals. Take tiny steps. Do things that seem too easy. Don’t get ahead of yourself. NEVER QUIT.

Did you get the idea yet? Make this the year that you’re consistent. Can you fit in two workouts a week easily? Then make that your goal. Stop trying to turn everything into a fitness activity. Stop obsessing. Stop bingeing and punishing yourself. Stop restricting to the point of bingeing. Live your life so fully and joyfully that you don’t even think about bingeing, restricting, and punishing. Fitness isn’t a chore – it’s using your body the way it’s designed to be used.
