This week’s tiny change at the studio is to eat the rainbow. This challenge comes up a few times a year – how’s it going for you? Here are some ways you might add some more colors to your plate this week:
- Baby carrots. Even with ranch! They’re already cut and ready for you.
- Berries – even frozen ones in smoothies or as a yogurt topping
- Avocado, on anything, anywhere
- Spinach or another leafy green, scrambled into eggs or straight from the freezer into any sauce (or on a pizza!)

Brightly colored foods contain key nutrients that can help with any of your health and fitness goals, so load up whenever and however you can. Do you have a favorite tip? Let me know and I’ll share it in my meal prep post later this week!

- Wednesday 7pm Zumba at Jerabeck Athletic Center (class meets upstairs – enter via the main door and use the first staircase on your right) just two more sessions, including this week’s class! Class runs through May 3.
