Tiny Changes to Boost Your Week – Vol 2

I can’t tell you anything better for your upcoming week than this: IT IS THE LAST FULL WEEK OF 2020. Not sure about you, but I thought this year might never end. Let’s send it off with these tasty treats, a quick cardio sesh or two, and some of my favorite do-it-from-the-couch YouTube yoga.

  1. Couldn’t be easier crackers
They have two ingredients and they are like foolproof? Prove me wrong. Then serve them with your epic holiday cheeseball.
  2. These neck and shoulder stretches – trust me, you need them
  3. Baked pancakes made in a sheet pan; her recipe uses bisquick but I would cut the recipe in half (bake it in a smaller pan) and use:
3/4 cup “milk” of your choice
    2 eggs
    1 cup almond flour
    3 scoops protein powder
2 tablespoons chia seeds or ground flaxseed
and, of course, toppings (your call on whether or not to brush the top with melted butter or “butter” – I vote yes)
…I think this would be an amazing meal prep hack!
  4.  15 minute HIIT – yes, you can! (There are no-impact modifications built in if you’re concerned about jumping.)
  5. Wind down yoga perfect for the couch or when you’re already in bed – give yourself a break sometimes, ok?
  6. The undated version (for commitment-phobes) and dated versions of my favorite planner

We have just 7 Zumba classes left this year and only 2 more Bootcamps – if you’ve been thinking about joining us online or at Levy Park this year, time is short!

Let’s get real serious for a sec about what you need to do to look like that.

I’m updating this for 2021, but take a look at the rest of my advice about finding time to work out (I don’t tell you to turn off the TV, I promise).

What I’m meal prepping for next week:

  • Baked vegan mac and “cheese” (lots of protein from nutritional yeast and some hidden tofu)
  • A better-for-me version of this gorgeous eggnog tart
  • Tortilla española bc Christmas Eve traditions, even in 2020
  • Those baked pancakes I linked in #3, but my version for after presents are opened
  • Champagne?

See you next week and probably before! Thanks for being here.
